OSCE MISSION TO SKOPJE

The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption started its cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Skopje in 2012, and within its framework numerous activities were carried out for the promotion of democratic governance and prevention of corruption in the country, as well as encouraging international cooperation. In 2020, the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Mission in Skopje for the implementation of joint activities in the period 2020-2022. This framework for cooperation aims to promote practices for preventing corruption and strengthening the system of integrity. Joint activities will primarily be in accordance with the principles established in the Law on Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest, the National Strategy for Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest 2021-2025, other national strategic documents, as well as other related activities. The joint activities, including the deadlines and other details for their implementation, will be determined additionally in the Annual Action Plans agreed jointly between the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption and the OSCE Mission to Skopje.
